Where is the Oversight, Management of All State Supported Agencies?

The disturbing and scandalous developments at some of the state’s most visible quasi-public agencies, overseen by boards of directors and professionals that manage the day-to-day operations, has gained some notoriety in recent weeks and months. Most notably in the scandal- plagued Lottery Corporation, and the Connecticut Port Authority, CPA.

Looking to gauge the true feeling of residents in response to the state’s recently enacted plastic bag tax, State Rep. Joe Polletta took a walk down Main St., then a drive around the district where he was able to stop into local stores and talk directly with business owners and customers.

Monthly Naloxone Training at AMR

The Western Connecticut Coalition and American Medical Response (AMR) are continuing to host monthly Naloxone trainings through the end of the year.
 
Naloxone (Narcan) is the medication that reverses an opioid overdose.
