Monthly Naloxone Training at AMR

The Western Connecticut Coalition and American Medical Response (AMR) are continuing to host monthly Naloxone trainings through the end of the year.
 
Naloxone (Narcan) is the medication that reverses an opioid overdose.
 
The current schedule is:
SEPTEMBER 2019
Evening – Wednesday 9/25 6:00 – 7:30 p.m.
 
OCTOBER 2019
Morning – Wednesday 10/9 8:30 – 10:00 a.m.
 
NOVEMBER 2019
Evening – Wednesday 11/13 6:00 – 7:30 p.m.
 
DECEMBER 2019
Morning -Wednesday 12/11 8:30 – 10:00 a.m.
 
All training sessions will include risk factors and prevention strategies, signs and symptoms of overdose, how to administer Naloxone, Good Samaritan law and treatment/support services.
