Welcoming Home Vietnam Veterans in Watertown

WATERTOWN — On Saturday, State Rep. Joe Polletta was among speakers in Watertown to welcome home Vietnam War veterans on the anniversary of the conflict’s end, 51 years ago. Local officials joined veterans for the annual ceremony which recognizes the sacrifice and service of Vietnam War veterans.

Rep. Polletta said, “It was once again an honor to participate in the 2024 Welcome Home Vietnam Veterans Day. May we never forget the young men and women that perished and those that continue to suffer the aftermath of the Vietnam War.”
