Minutes before they both took to the mud-covered obstacle course, State Representative Craig Fishbein presented an official state citation from the entire Wallingford delegation to this year’s Gaylord Gauntlet featured adaptive athlete, Anthony Picchione.

State Rep. Craig Fishbein presented a state citation to Cauley Comerford in recognition for being honored with a Nightingale Award for Excellence in Nursing by Hartford Healthcare.

Forty-Five Projects Selected to Receive Grants to Plan, Build, Expand, and Improve Multi-Use Trails

In a press release, the Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection announced a series of grants totaling $10 million to support the planning, building, expansion, and improvement of 45 multi-use trails located in towns and cities throughout Connecticut are being awarded through Connecticut Recreational Trails Grant Program.

Locally, $172,000 is slated for planning, design, and outreach

Swapping a sport coat for turnout gear, State Rep. Craig Fishbein recently joined the brave men and women of the Wallingford Fire Department and North Farms Volunteer Fire Department for a Self Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA) training evolution at the Central Fire Headquarters on Masonic Avenue.

Recognizing that financial abuse can be an underreported yet aggressive form of domestic violence, State Representative Craig Fishbein (R-90) today celebrated the unanimous House passage of a bill he helped create to protect victims of domestic violence from coerced debt, including creating a civil liability for abusers.
