Memorial Day arrives this weekend, and it is a time to reflect on the service of those who answered our nation’s call in times of armed conflict, and made the ultimate sacrifice to ensure future generations of Americans would remain free.
OBSERVANCES IN NORTH HAVEN
NORTH HAVEN: There will be a Memorial Day Service on Saturday, May 27, starting at 10:30 a.m. The American Legion Post 76 in North Haven is sponsoring the 71st annual Memorial Day Parade. Residents are encouraged to find seating along the route, which starts at the High School, goes east on Bailey Road, then north on Maple Avenue, continues on Church Street, and ends at the corner of Church and St. John. The grandstand will be located at the Green, across from the Town Hall.
