Rep. Zupkus Celebrates Prospect Women

HARTFORD – During the 2018 legislative session, State Rep. Lezlye Zupkus has celebrated the role women play in a wide range of fields, from being a student or teacher to owning a business or being an elected leader.

In March, Rep. Zupkus celebrated Women’s History Month with local leaders, students, and business owners.

Last week, Rep. Zupkus had the honor of introducing Miss Maritime Sarah Rioux on the House Floor in Hartford.

Rep. Zupkus said her and her colleagues are fighting for women and families this session, and is proud to be in the House Republican Caucus, who has more percentage of women representatives in Hartford and the only women leader, House Republican Leader Themis Klarides.
