Infrastructure Improvements Begin in Oakville

Posted on March 18, 2024

‼️ More good news for Oakville ‼️
After church parishioners and other constituents reached out regarding the unsightly and unsafe conditions of the state owned wall in front of St. Mary Magdalen Church, the DOT has begun repair work. This wall has stood tall for many years and is immediately noticed when entering town. Today, I am thrilled to announce it will be repaired, resurfaced and made safe.
Together, we are reshaping our Main Street corridor and making Oakville/Watertown more business friendly

Rep. Polletta, Watertown Police Chief & Deputy Chief Testify at State Capitol

Posted on March 8, 2024

It was a great honor to be joined at the Capitol today by Watertown Chief of Police Joshua Bernegger and Deputy Chief Renee Dominguez, who testified on a bill that would increase protections for certain victims of sexual assault under the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA). Their advocacy on this important issue was on full display before the Government Administration and Elections Committee today and on behalf of the great people of Watertown, thank you both for your service!

Standing with Law Enforcement and Supporting Public Safety

Posted on March 6, 2024

Today I joined my Republican colleagues at the State Capitol in a strong show of support for our law enforcement. At a time when our state’s police officers are at record-low levels of ranks & morale and state lawmakers constantly stack the odds against them, it is no surprise that they do not feel supported here in Connecticut. This will not stand — it is up to us to change the narrative and let our finest & bravest know that we have their backs in Hartford when they do in all of our communities.
