Since the beginning of October, the Milford Patch has reported over twenty stories concerning local crime and incidents of theft, many of which involve juveniles. Although the governor’s office reported a 6% decline in various crimes on average in 2022, I am still convinced that crime is one of the most pressing issues in our community.

For example, in the governor’s 2022 report, it’s critical to acknowledge that 8.1% of property crimes (7,209 instances) were vehicle thefts,

Recently, the Department of Energy and Environmental Protection (DEEP) submitted its proposed emissions standards which would effectively ban the sale of all new gas-powered cars by 2035. This proposal, modeled from other states like California, seeks to reduce our carbon footprint. The reality: these mandates will limit consumer choice, negatively impact our electric grid, and make Connecticut more unaffordable.

All Connecticut Residents Can Sign Up for the Free Discount Card To Receive Savings on Medication
A Connecticut prescription drug discount card program established under Public Act 23-171 was launched on October 2, 2023, enabling all residents of the state to receive savings on certain prescription drugs.
