Eversource Discounts and Rate Info – Fall 2023

As rising prices and the effects from inflation make our state more unaffordable, I am happy to announce that Eversource has shared information on discounts and other services to financially assist families this Fall.

Below, please take a look at Eversource resources that concern Electric Bill Discounts, Suppliers, and Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) or “smart meters”, all which can help YOU get the best service for the lowest price.

Beginning in December 2023, Eversource will introduce a new discount rate for qualifying electric customers that will provide 10% or 50% off their bill. Join them in spreading the word in our communities to ensure as many residents as possible sign up for this important money-saving opportunity.

This winter, energy costs are expected to be higher once again and no one wants to see rising energy prices. Eversource wants residents to know that they can take control of their electric supply costs by choosing a supplier that offers a lower rate.

Learn more about Eversource’s proposal to implement Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI), or smart meters, for our electric customers in Connecticut, which will provide several new capabilities to enable residents to better understand and control their energy usage and bills – like real-time usage information, new time varying rate options, and more.
