Milford Launches Microtransit Services April 8th

(MILFORD) — Recently, the Connecticut Department of Transportation announced the launch of new microtransit services in several Connecticut municipalities through their new pilot program, that supports Milford, CT. Microtransit service is an accessible mode of transportation that allows customers to use a smartphone app or telephone number to request and schedule a ride within designated service areas.

These services are set to begin on April 8th, 2024 with $3.00 one-way fares and full week schedules. Milford’s Microtransit service will go to the following locations: Downtown Milford, CT Post Mall, State Parks, Beaches Medical facilities Grocery stores. It will also make connections with the following services: Milford Transit, CTtransit, Coastal Link (Milford to Norwalk) Metro-North’s New Haven Line.
