Information for Restaurant Owners

The Department of Consumer Protection announced updated regulations for restaurants that want to serve alcohol outside. The Patio, Extension of Use, Ans/or Additional Consumer Bar Application has more detail.

  • There is NO CHARGE for this application
  • The form must be reviewed and approved by local officials, specifically:
    • Zoning
    • Fire marshal
    • Local health
  • Electronic signatures will be accepted from the local officials
  • Provide a sketch of the proposed outdoor service area- provided to and approved by local officials
  • If already applied or approved for patio approval- NO NEED TO REAPPLY
