Rep. Carney to Partner with LYSB for Local Food Drive

Representative is Encouraging Area Residents to Join in Efforts to Help Local Residents in Need
HARTFORD – State Representative Devin Carney (R-23) is partnering with Lymes’ Youth Service Bureau to collect non-perishable food items and toiletries to assist local families during the Thanksgiving holiday.
When:
Saturday, November 18, 2023
10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Where:
Big Y World Class Market
90 Halls Road, Old Lyme
In addition to the collection on November 18th, Lymes’ Youth Service Bureau will hold to previous collections at the Big Y in Old Lyme. The first will take place on Saturday, November 11th from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and a second on Wednesday, November 15th from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
If you’d like to make a donation but are unable to make it to Big Y on the scheduled collection days, you can also drop off items at either the Old Lyme Police Department, 294 Shore Road or LYSB at 59 Lyme Street. Donations can be made from November 13th through November 17th.
