2024 Hartford Boat Show at Mohegan Sun

As someone who represents towns along our beautiful coastline, it was great to have an opportunity to attend the 53rd annual Hartford Boat Show at Mohegan Sun. This yearly event brings together enthusiasts, novices, manufacturers, and experts from the field to showcase various types of boats and marine related products.
I appreciated getting a chance to speak with and hear from several constituents and local business owners on their industry and get an update on any challenges or issues they may be facing.
Supporting the boating industry is vital to our state and local economy as its annual economic impact reaches into the billions. It directly and indirectly creates jobs, supports other local businesses, and enhances state tourism.
