THOMASTON – On Friday, May 3rd, State Rep. John Piscopo attended Black Rock Elementary School’s Read Aloud Day. Piscopo was joined by community leaders and other distinguished guests to read to various classes.
“This is one of my favorite events of the year and I always look forward to participating in it. The students were engaged during our story time and had great questions for me. I thank them for welcoming me to be part of their morning,” said Piscopo.

I joined my colleagues to present our 2024 budget adjustments at the State Capitol during a news conference on Thursday morning. This budget prioritizes spending, creates structural reforms, and comes in $43.5 million under the established spending cap.
