State Rep. Tami Zawistowski toured exhibits and spoke with students, industry executives, and advocates during the annual School Manufacturing ConnecCTion Fair at the Capitol. The event is put on in cooperation between the legislature’s Manufacturing Caucus and the CT Office of Manufacturing.
During the Fair, Rep. Zawistowski met with representatives from many businesses, including Collins Aerospace who were on hand to promote their cutting edge technology business which has been a Windsor Locks staple for decades. Rep. Zawistowski has been a longtime supporter of Collins Aerospace and recently joined Senator Kissel and Rep. Garibay for a tour of their facility which included discussions about new technology for in-cabin air exchange systems for commercial aircraft, to an upgrade program to certain aircraft propellers that is currently taking place nationwide.
