ENFIELD – State Representatives Greg Stokes (R-58), Carol Hall (R-59), Scott Storms (R-60) and Tami Zawistowski (R-61) and State Senator John A. Kissel (R-7), recently joined local and other state dignitaries at Asnuntuck Community College for a ribbon cutting ceremony for the school’s new Advanced Manufacturing Technology Center.  The 27,000 square foot facility offers countless Computerized Measuring Machines, Computer Numerical Control (CNC) machines, state-of-the-art computer labs with the latest hardware and software, and a number of 3-D printers to give students a real hands-on learning experience.  With over 5,500 manufacturing companies located in Connecticut employing over 160,000 individuals, Asnuntuck’s program boasts a job placement rate of approximately 90%.
