HARTFORD – The Connecticut Business & Industry Association has released its 2023 legislative records. CBIA has ranked each individual legislator’s support, or opposition, to legislation that seeks to support Connecticut businesses, increase economic opportunities, and create greater affordability.

According to CBIA, State Rep. Kurt Vail received a 100% voting record for the 2023 session. To review the state house voting records, you can click here.

“CBIA is the state’s leading advocacy group on business-related issues. Their voting record criteria takes into consideration a portion of the new laws we recently voted on. I believe we made good steps in strengthening our workforce last session, but I believe we can do more to promote affordability and eliminate taxes as we look ahead to the 2024 legislative year,” Said Rep. Vail, whose district includes Somers, Stafford, Union, and Woodstock.
