State Representative John Piscopo (R-76) achieved a perfect record for votes cast on the floor of the state House of Representatives during the 2019 legislative session, according to the House Clerk’s Office.

Representative Piscopo was present and voted for all 392 votes taken on the state House floor during the 2019 session, according to voting record data released last week by the House Clerk’s Office.  Perfect attendance is very difficult to achieve, with only about 26 percent of legislators able to do so this year.

“As state representative of the 76th General Assembly District, I am dedicated to serving my constituents to the best of my ability, which is certainly reflected in my voting record,” said Rep. Piscopo.  “I am honored to represent the people of Thomaston, Burlington, Harwinton and Litchfield, and I always look forward to hearing from them on every issue debated before the legislature.”

Piscopo, the Senior House Republican Whip and a leader in the House Republican Caucus, serves on the Energy & Technology and Finance, Revenue & Bonding and Environment Committees in the General Assembly.
