Today was a great opportunity to catch up with folks at the Shelton Senior Center during this morning’s senior fair! Special thanks go to State Senator Kevin Kelly and his team along with the staff at the Senior Center for making it such a great event.
The Shelton CT Police Department, Griffin Hospital, the Connecticut Department of Consumer Protection, and Echo Hose Ambulance – Shelton EMS we’re joined by many other outstanding organizations to educate seniors!

Special Session: Absentee Ballots and Election Legislation

Today, the General Assembly convened for a Special Legislative Session to discuss certain changes to state voting laws. In our discussion, I voiced my support for an amendment that would have effectively eliminated the use of absentee ballot drop boxes, initially introduced as a “safe voting practice” during the pandemic.

As we approach the cold and flu season, now is the perfect opportunity to join us at the annual Shelton Senior Health Fair on Wednesday, September 27, 2023, at 9:30 a.m. at the Shelton Senior Center, located at 81 Wheeler Street, Shelton, CT.

Perillo Supports Plan To Save $740 Million In Pension Costs

(SHELTON) — Today, I was happy to join Governor Ned Lamont, Comptroller Sean Scanlon, Mayor Mark Lauretti, Representative Holly Cheeseman, and officers of the Shelton CT Police Department as the Governor signed municipal employee pension reform into law. This was bi-partisan legislation that will save our towns hundreds of millions of dollars AND secure pension benefits for municipal retirees.

(HARTFORD) — On early Tuesday morning, the Connecticut House of Representatives successfully passed the Biennial State Budget Agreement for Fiscal Year 2024-2025.
