In case you missed it, State Representative Gale Mastrofrancesco was on WFSB CT-21 with Eric Parker to discuss the proposed changes before the legislature this session regarding election laws, which include early voting and no excuse absentee voting. Current law in Connecticut does not require signature verification on absentee ballots or a photo ID to vote in person, and the Democrats refuse to include any of these measures in their proposals. I strongly oppose any legislation that would further weaken our election system and open the door for fraud, and I will continue to speak against these issues. I agree with expanding access to voting, however, there must be checks and balances in place to preserve election integrity – our democracy depends on it.
