HARTFORD – In the closing hours of the 2024 legislative session on Wednesday night, State Representative Carol Hall cast her vote in support of a land conveyance in the Town of Enfield.
The bill, SB-460, An Act Concerning the Conveyance of a Parcel of Land in the Town of Enfield, would transfer the 14.5 acres of land on Shaker Road to the town so it could be used for additional sports and recreational opportunities.

Too often, the voices of our local municipalities are left out of the conversations when it comes to the placement of renewable energy projects.
