Rep. Christie Carpino (R-32) announced today that AARP is hosting , The Con-Artist’s Playbook, a Deep Look Into The Mind of Scam Artists, Saturday, March 21, 2015, 10:00 a.m., Covenant Village of Cromwell Events Center, 52 Missionary Road, Cromwell.
This event is open to the public and free of charge.
The Con-Artist’s Playbook is an inside look at how scammers think, so you can protect yourself and your family against identity theft and fraud. The Con-Artist’s Playbook was developed based on hundreds of undercover fraud tapes and hours of interviews with victims and con artists. It shines a spotlight on the common strategies scammers use and provides tools to use in defense of common con artist tricks.
