State Representative Christie Carpino invited elected board members from both Portland and Cromwell to join her for a community service initiative at Connecticut Foodshare to help the greater good.
Carpino along with the local elected officials and students volunteered by working a two-hour shift at Connecticut Foodshare in Wallingford on Saturday afternoon.
