On September 2 I joined fellow House Republicans to demand the Majority Leaders and Co-Chairs of Public Health as a legislative committee convene a meeting and vote on Governor Lamont’s efforts to extend his sweeping executive orders beyond their Sept. 9 expiration date.
I sent a letter to Majority members the committee, as have many of my colleagues, asking they meet to address the balance of unchecked authority. We were all elected to represent the people of Connecticut.
