HARTFORD – On Wednesday, February 5th, the Connecticut General Assembly convened for the 2020 legislative session. “It is a privilege to represent the residents and businesses of Cromwell and Portland at the State Capitol in Hartford,” said Rep. Carpino. “The legislature has a lot to do in a 3-month period, but I am confident that we can work in a bipartisan fashion to continue moving Connecticut forward. I hope we can all agree that the health, safety, and economic stability of our residents should always be our first priority as an elected body.” Representative Carpino serves as the Caucus Chair and is a member of the Judiciary, Public Health, and Regulation Review Committees.
