    The Connecticut Department of Transportation has announced that a milling and resurfacing project will be performed on Route 3 from Route 66 (Washington Street) to Route 372 (West Street) in Middletown and Cromwell.

    The project consists of milling and resurfacing a 3.37-mile segment of Route 3. The milling segment of the project is scheduled to occur from Tuesday, July 13th, to Thursday, July 29th. The resurfacing segment of the project is anticipated to occur from Sunday, August 1st, to Wednesday, August 18th.

    Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The night work schedule for this project is 7:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. (Sunday – Thursday).

    Modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary.
