    HARTFORD- State Sen. Paul Doyle (D-9) and State Rep. Christie Carpino (R-32) presented Sergeant Daniel Blum with an official state citation for military service.

    Sergeant Daniel Blum returned home to Cromwell from Afghanistan on May 4th.  

    “Sgt. Blum has helped ensure the safety of our country and safeguard the ideals in which we so strongly believe in as Americans,” said Rep. Carpino.

    Sen. Doyle said, “The personal sacrifices made by Sgt. Blum have guaranteed Americans can continue to live free from tyranny and on behalf of the State of Connecticut, we want to humbly and graciously thank him for his service.
