Carpino Visits Non-Profit Tech School in Cromwell

CROMWELL – State Representative Christie Carpino (32) visited Entech Advanced Energy Training in Cromwell which is a state-certified, private, non-profit, technical school affiliated with Connecticut Energy Marketers Association (CEMA). Entech provides complete training programs for careers in HVACR or CETP Propane.
“Touring Entech was a reminder of the incredible opportunities technical education provides. These students aren’t just learning a trade—they’re stepping into high-demand careers that power our state’s economy,” said Rep. Christie Carpino, who had the chance to speak to a few students before their class began.
The training facility features a range of cutting-edge technology and equipment. Entech’s hands-on training style prepares students to quickly immerse themselves in the exciting and evolving energy industry, including the conversion to cleaner biofuels and prepares them for careers in HVAC/R, Propane, Energy Efficiency, and Energy Technology. The training classes are offered both in the day and at night to meet the needs of the individual student.
Entech provides its graduates with the necessary credentials to obtain apprentice positions as HVAC/R – heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration – service providers in Connecticut. Some of their students in the program are ready for a paid apprenticeship with an energy company or commercial/residential HVAC/R company in under six months.
