    Stand down

    The Connecticut Department of Veterans’ Affairs will hold its annual Stand Down on September 20, from 7am to 3pm at the Veterans Home in Rocky Hill.

    Stand Down provides an opportunity for homeless and low-income veterans to receive needed assistance.  Veterans can receive medical screenings, benefit information, employment assistance and more.

    If you are a veteran, or know a veteran, who needs assistance please do not miss this important event.
