CROMWELL- To learn more about the treatment of those with behavioral and mental health issues, State Rep. Christie Carpino (R-32) visited and toured Ädelbrook Behavioral and Developmental Services in Cromwell.
“Adelbrook is a fabulous place with great staff and services. Connecticut needs to encourage more facilities like Adelbrook here at home. The earlier we can identify and treatment those with psychiatric, behavioral health, or those on the autism spectrum,” said Rep. Carpino said, “With a significant focus this session on identification and treatment of those with mental health issues, it is important to view these facilities and what they provide in the way of services.”
Adelbrook offers an array of services and programs including outpatient therapy, transitional group homes, in-home supports, school-based supports and a training academy. They are committed to preserving the dignity of each person we serve as demonstrated in our respect for individual rights and preferences; in maintaining and furthering their community relationships; and in assuring for the provision/development of safe and healthy environments.
