CROMWELL — Nearly two dozen girls tonight learned a little bit about the importance of discussion, compromise and decision making from Rep. Christie Carpino, who was among women who told members of Brownie Troop 62145 at Hilltop Covenant Church a little bit about their careers. The session allowed the third-grade girls earn their “careers” badges. Carpino talked to the Brownies about the duties that come with being an attorney, and she explained her responsibilities at the Capitol when the legislature is in session.
