PORTLAND – State Representative Christie Carpino (Portland/Cromwell) presents a legislative citation to recognize Petzold’s Marine Center for being named Portland’s Business of the Year . Petzold’s has been a cornerstone in Portland for decades, offering the community expertise on marine equipment, watercraft repairs and sales, as well as featuring one of New England’s largest boat show rooms. “Petzold’s is vital to Portland’s economic viability and a wonderful community partner. Operating for over 70 years and expanding to additional locations is a testament to the family’s success. I am confident they will continue to have a positive impact on our community and wish them much success for years to come.”
