Rep. Christie Carpino was among the thousands of Connecticut residents who participated in one of several fundraising walks today to support programs and services for the roughly 6,000 people in the state who suffer from multiple sclerosis. Carpino was at the walk in West Hartford, where she helped get the participants moving by cutting the ceremonial ribbon. An estimated 9,000 people walked in events throughout the state, including Simsbury, Cheshire and Litchfield. For information about how you can help in Connecticut, visit the society’s Web site here.
