CROMWELL- State Rep. Christie Carpino is reminding Cromwell residents that a Department of Transportation milling and resurfacing project has begun along a 2.94 mile segment of Route 99 (Main Street) in Cromwell. This project is scheduled to occur Monday, September 23, 2013, to Friday, October 11, 2013.
Motorists can expect lane closures on Route 99 (Main Street) between Route 372 (West Street) to the Rock Hill Town Line in Cromwell. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is 6:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. (Monday through Friday).
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
