    WETHERSFIELD, June 4, 2013 – State Rep. Christie Carpino and the state Department of Labor are informing the residents of Cromwell and Portland that The Middlesex County Career Fair, will be held at the Crowne Plaza in Cromwell on June 18th from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The Career Fair plans to offer opportunities to connect with more than 40 employers hoping to fill positions ranging from entry-level to management.

    The event is co-sponsored by the Connecticut Department of Labor, the Middlesex Chamber of Commerce and Workforce Alliance, admission to the event is free to jobseekers and there is plenty of convenient, onsite parking at the hotel.

    The career fair will also feature professional résumé writers from the Labor Department who will offer résumé critiques and provide tips and suggestions for making it stand out to prospective employers.
