Manufacturers from throughout the state traveled to Hartford to give state lawmakers more information about the products and services they provide. Carpino, discussing legislation that affects manufacturers, first met with Bruce Dworak, president of Durham-based Hobson Motzer Incorporated. She had a similar conversation with Sean Power, Director of Sales for Ripley, a Cromwell-based manufacturer of cable and wire preparation tools and a division of Capewell Components in South Windsor.
