HARTFORD- In order to ensure that a state plan includes priorities important to older residents in the state, the State Department on Aging (SDA) is seeking to hear from Connecticut seniors according to State Rep. Christie Carpino (Cromwell and Portland).

The State Department on Aging (SDA) is writing a new three-year strategic plan encompassing services for older adults in Connecticut, with an emphasis on programs funded by the Older Americans Act.

SDA is holding a series of meetings at the senior centers in your area in March 2014.

“The state wants to hear from you and make sure the state adequately designs and creates a plan that addresses the real life problems older residents’ face,” said Rep. Carpino.
