    CROMWELL- State Rep. Christie Carpino was informed Cromwell has opened a cooling center for its residents at Town Hall, 41 West St. The cooling center will be open during regular business hours from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.

    Residents are also welcome to visit the Cromwell Belden Public Library to help stay cool. Library hours are from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Fridays.

    Seniors needing transportation are advised to contact the Cromwell Senior Center at 860-632-3475 for assistance.
