Carpino Crafts ‘Sweet Snowflakes’ for Cromwell Seniors

(CROMWELL) — Thanks to the work of State Representative Christie Carpino and the help of Cromwell students, this new year is off to a sweet start! With a desire to help local homebound seniors, Carpino and student volunteers decorated and stuffed 20 “Sweet Snowflake” goodie bags with snacks, personal care products, and activity books set out for delivery this week.

“Winter can be long and lonely for many,” said Rep. Carpino. “I hope this treat reminds some of our seniors that someone is thinking of them. This project wouldn’t have been possible without the students that brought their energy and smiles to help decorate and assemble the Sweet Snowflake bags. Their willingness to help is a great example of the kindness we can spread as a community.”
