CROMWELL- Friday January 18th, State Rep. Christie Carpino (Cromwell and Portland) attended the Middlesex County Chamber of Commerce’s annual legislative breakfast with members of the Middlesex County Chamber legislative delegation and chamber members.
Carpino, pointing to the 100 business owners in the audience said, “You are the people who make our economy go, you are the job creators, tell us (legislators) what we can do to encourage you to keep or expand your business in Connecticut.”
The Middlesex County Chamber of Commerce represents over 2,400 member businesses that employ 50,000 people. It is the largest chamber of commerce in the state.
The chamber members asked legislators questions on a many issues that are of interest to them. Issues ranging from economic development to energy and manufacturing.
