PORTLAND- This past weekend, State Rep. Christie Carpino and her family participated in Portland’s Family Fitness Day which is a day of fun activities, games, sports, contests and challenges for the entire family at Camp Ingersoll.
Carpino has been promoting a healthier lifestyle through physical activity to combat the rise in childhood obesity this legislative session.
The UCONN CT Fitness And Nutrition Clubs In Motion, a 4-H After School STEM Program Event helped work the event which is designed to educate people and children on the nutritional aspects of fitness.
