Carpino Applauds New Portland Business

PORTLAND- State Rep. Christie Carpino (R-32) attended the grand opening of Portland’s new restaurant Melilli Cafée & Grill on Main Street.

Seby Milardo, the owner of Melilli Cafée & Grill has moved his business from on Main Street in Cromwell to Main Street in Portland. Seb Milardo runs Melilli’s with his wife, Theresa and his two children, Nicole and Josephine.

Starting Thursday, Melilli Cafée & Grill will be open from 5:30am to 9:00pm, seven days a week serving up authentic Italian cuisine. The eat-in restaurant will include also include take-out service and catering.

“I have enjoyed Melilli’s for years and am happy they remained in the district. Melilli’s is a wonderful corporate citizen and will be a true asset to the Main Street community. I wish them many years of great success.” said Rep. Carpino.

Carpino Organizes Community Service Project
