CARPINO ACHEIVES PERFECT VOTING RECORD IN 2016

HARTFORD – State Representative Christie Carpino (Cromwell/Portland) achieved a perfect, one-hundred-percent, voting record for the 2016 Legislative Session.

Throughout the legislative session, Carpino cast votes on all 313 separate pieces of legislation that came up for consideration on the floor of the House of Representatives. Approximately, 30 percent of legislators achieved a perfect voting record this session.

“Voting on proposed bills is the most direct way to be sure the voices Cromwell and Portland residents are heard at the Capitol,” stated Rep. Carpino. “I work diligently on matters affecting our district and our state. Being present to represent these views for each vote is key.”

Since being elected, Carpino has been present for every single vote taking place in the House of Representatives.
