Candelora Celebrates Civic Engagement at East Haven Earth Day Clean-Up

Community spirit is thriving in East Haven and will be for some time thanks to emerging leaders like Dahna Lara. It was a pleasure to recognize her efforts Saturday at Clean UP East Haven Earth Day 2024, and I’m thankful for the work of organizers and volunteers for events like this that display to CT’s next generation the value of civic engagement.
