**VIDEO** – Ackert Testifies in Support of Low-Speed Vehicle Bill – HB 5204

(HARTFORD) — On Tuesday, State Representative Tim Ackert (R-8) testified in support of House Bill 5204, An Act Concerning the Registration of Low-Speed Vehicles, which would allow certain low-speed vehicles to operate on roads under certain speed limits.
Right now, the majority of states have passed similar laws allowing them to gain revenue through the registration, sales taxes, and municipal property taxes on these vehicles. Additionally, many of these vehicles are commonly used by small businesses, making this bill important to ensuring success and efficiency.
