Bridge Work Impacting Traffic in Coventry

The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing the start of construction activities for the replacement of Bridge 06851 on Route 44 over Olson’s Brook in Coventry beginning Monday, March 29, 2021.

The project will be constructed in three stages while maintaining one lane of travel in each direction on Route 44 except for the closures listed below.

On Route 44 (Boston Turnpike) expect temporary alternating one-way traffic operations at the following times:

• Monday through Friday from 9 A.M. to 3 P.M.
• Monday through Friday from 6 P.M. to 6 A.M.
• Saturday and Sunday from 6 P.M. to 10A.M.
