Ackert Joins Coventry Senior Center for Legislative Update

(COVENTRY) — Today, I had the pleasure of joining State Senator Jeff Gordon at the Coventry Senior Center for our Legislative Update on the 2023 Session. We were fortunate to chat with several concerned residents who shared their questions on the recent State Budget Agreement, as well as on crime, affordability, and other state benefit programs.

A special thanks to the staff and directors of the Coventry Senior Center for expanding local programs and opportunities for our seniors, ensuring residents have the resources they deserve and being an example for other centers throughout the state. I look forward to returning soon and I will continue to support our beloved seniors in Hartford who represent the backbone of our local community.
