HARTFORD – State Representatives Christie Carpino (Portland, Cromwell) and Devin Carney (Lyme, Old Lyme, Old Saybrook, Westbrook) joined CT Department of Transportation (DOT) officials and members of the legislature’s Transportation Committee on Friday for a tour of the ongoing construction work on the Arrigoni Bridge. Rep. Carpino Says No Need to Extending Governor’s Emergency Powers

HARTFORD – State Representative Christie Carpino voted no on a resolution extending Governor Lamont’s emergency powers for a sixth time since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic. Rep. Carpino cited high vaccination rates and alternative methods for accessing federal relief funds that did not require an emergency declaration.

Milling and Resurfacing Project on Route 3 in Middletown and Cromwell to Begin July 13th

The Connecticut Department of Transportation has announced that a milling and resurfacing project will be performed on Route 3 from Route 66 (Washington Street) to Route 372 (West Street) in Middletown and Cromwell.
