Carpino Secures $231,000 in Cromwell Bonding Funding

Rep. Carpino Welcomed $231k for Cromwell Little League Lights
(CROMWELL) — Today, State Representative Christie Carpino welcomed $231,000 for lights on Cromwell’s local little league field. The funding was passed by the legislature in a bonding package during the 2024 Legislative Session and received final approval today by the State Bond Commission.
State Representative Christie Carpino (CROMWELL) said, “I want to thank Governor Lamont and the members of the Bonding Commission for including this allocation in their agenda. This investment illuminates both our field and expanded athletic opportunities for our youth and community to enjoy. As a former Cromwell Little League team mom, I am excited to see this funding benefit the growth of our Little League program and I will continue to advocate for funding to support district-wide improvement projects.”
The State Bond Commission confirmed the bonding funding on Friday, in response to the advocacy and efforts of the Cromwell Delegation. Although a start date for the project has not been set, delegation members look forward to sharing more information regarding the timeline of the light installation in the coming months.
