Legislative Internship Program for Undergraduates

I would like to let the students in my district know that the Connecticut General Assembly is now accepting applications for the 2018 Legislative Internship Program! Starting in the Spring, interns at the Capitol will see how state government works first-hand, work one-on-one with a state legislator and legislative staff member, and earn school credit while gaining job experience in public service and/or law.

SUFFIELD – Mary Anne Zak, local writer for the Suffield Observer, received an official General Assembly citation yesterday from State Representative Tami Zawistowski (R-61) congratulating her on the 100th meeting of the Suffield Polish Heritage Society, which she established in 2006. The society’s mission is to research, preserve and share the history, customs and traditions of the Polish heritage in the Town of Suffield.
